South Elementary Supply List

Dear South Families,

Our staff is excited to share that for the 2026–2027 school year, our Student Activity Account (SAA) will be covering all school supplies for South students.

This decision allows us to ensure that every student begins the school year with the materials they need to be successful. Providing supplies through the school also offers several benefits:

• Ensures all students start the year with the necessary supplies
• Allows teachers to purchase and organize materials before the first day of school
• Saves valuable classroom time typically spent organizing and labeling supplies
• Provides consistency of materials across classrooms
• Reduces financial stress and saves families time from shopping for school supplies

Because of this change, every student will arrive on the first day of school with all of the supplies they need already prepared in their classroom.

Students can plan to bring or purchase a backpack, water bottle, and a cold lunch box if needed. Please also know that additional support is always available if the start of the school year brings stress for your family. We can help with items such as backpacks, clothing, lunchboxes, and other essentials.

If you would still like to donate an additional item to support your child’s classroom, you are welcome to contact your child’s teacher directly.

We are incredibly excited to offer this opportunity to our students and families. This would not be possible without the generous donations raised during our Walk-a-Thon. Thank you for your continued support of our South community.
